“Thank you so much for allowing us to take Larila on our first Campervan trip which was a dream of ours. We absolutely loved every day and we have so much inspiration to build a van of our own! We really appreciate it! A couple things I thought I should mention about our time with Larila; There was a glass Coffee pourer in the pack that was broken upon setting up camp on the first night. We were unsure if this was broken during our walk through or if he copped a knock during the first day of driving. When eating dinner one of the camping chairs collapsed under me with one of the supporting arms giving way. Im not too sure if the chairs are just old but I have placed the arm in the bag with the chair. One thing we noticed was that even when the pump was turned off that the shower head was leaking small amounts of water. I had a quick look and it didnt appear that anything was loose or needed tightening. It might just need some maintenance. The trip was a 10/10 experience and there will definitely be parts of Larila that we loved so much that will make it into our own Campervan. Thank you, Brendan and Hailey”

“We recently hired a Farizon SuperVan EV campervan through Tasvanlife for a winter trip around Tasmania. Coming from a Tesla, the driving experience wasn't too difficult to adapt to. The regenerative braking was decent, although a little jerky on the higher settings compared to the smoother Tesla system. The biggest challenge was range estimation. The vehicle consistently displayed more than 300 km of range at 100% charge, but in real-world conditions we found around 200 km was a more realistic expectation, and that required careful driving. As a result, we had to do much more planning around charging stops than we're used to with a Tesla. The van was only supplied with an 8A charger (Would be better with a 10A/15A charger), which limited charging flexibility when staying overnight. While the vehicle supports DC fast charging up to 140 kW, Tasmania's charging infrastructure meant we still had to be quite strategic with our charging stops and travel plans. That said, the camper conversion itself was excellent. Having heating during Tasmania's cold winter nights made a huge difference to comfort, and the van was well set up for touring. The van sat nicely on the road, was comfortable to drive, and the quiet EV experience suited Tasmania's scenery perfectly. Lots of storage, could do with some more netting or hooks for hanging up towels, etc. The bed nooks were a nice addition. If there was a railing or netting on these they could be used all the time. Currently thing fall out when driving. Overall, Tasvanlife provided a great campervan experience, and Paul was easy to deal with and helpful throughout the process. While the vehicle technology, software, and range prediction aren't on the same level as Tesla, the camper setup, comfort, and unique EV road-trip experience made for a memorable holiday. We'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a different way to explore Tasmania, provided they are comfortable planning around EV charging and realistic driving range. A small written manual on how to use all the different switches etc in the van would be a valuable addition.”
